What our customers say
Every review on this page was written by someone we actually worked for, and is published as they wrote it — nothing edited, nothing trimmed to sound better.
Locked myself out at eleven at night with the dog inside. Someone answered on the second ring, told me what it would cost before setting off, and had the door open without a mark on it.
Came home from a late shift and the key turned halfway and stopped. He talked me through what he thought it was on the phone, gave me the price before he set off, and had the cylinder out and repaired on the doorstep.
Snapped the key off in the shopfront lock ten minutes before opening. Extracted the broken half without touching the door and cut me two new ones on the spot. We opened on time.
Locked the keys in the boot with the engine running. Sorted in about the time it took me to stop panicking, and nothing on the car was marked.
We run four units on the same corridor and had a drawer full of keys nobody could identify. They planned a master key system around who actually needs which door, then pinned it in an afternoon.
Bought a place where the previous owner had handed out keys to half the street. They rekeyed rather than replacing every lock, which cost a fraction of what I was braced for.
Old safe in the basement, combination lost with the house sale. Opened without cutting into it and serviced the lock while it was open.
How to leave a review
It takes about a minute, and it is the single most useful thing a customer can do for a local shop like ours.
-
Send it to us
Email info@a1locksmithrockvillemd.com or call 800-214-8901 and tell us how the job went. Either is fine — whichever you would rather do.
-
Tell us how to sign it
A first name and last initial with your town is the usual form, and it is what we publish. If you would rather not be named at all, say so and we will not use it.
-
Say what actually happened
A few specific sentences beat a general compliment. There is a short list below of the things that are genuinely useful to the next person reading it.
Or leave it on Google
If you would rather put it somewhere public, our Google listing takes reviews directly. It helps the next person in Rockville find a locksmith they can check up on.
What helps the next person
Somebody reading reviews is usually standing outside something locked and deciding who to trust. These are the details that answer that question.
- What was locked. A front door, a shopfront, a car, a safe.
- Where you were. The town or neighbourhood is enough — never your address.
- What time it was. A midnight callout tells a different story to a Tuesday morning.
- Whether the price was agreed first. That is the thing people worry about most.
- Whether the lock survived. Opened without damage, repaired, or replaced.
- Anything that went wrong. An honest review is worth more than a perfect one.
