What we do here
Every division covers Potomac. Pick the one that matches the problem, or call and describe it.
Potomac, street by street
Potomac has no downtown to speak of — Potomac Village, at the crossroads of Falls Road and River Road, is the closest thing, a cluster of shops and services surrounded on every side by residential streets. Everything else radiates out along Falls Road, River Road, Glen Road and Travilah Road, and out west along Democracy Boulevard and Tuckerman Lane where Potomac shades into North Bethesda.
The housing runs from 1960s-to-1990s colonials on big lots to substantial newer builds, with communities like Avenel built around their golf course. What that means for a locksmith is specific: more doors per house — front, side, garage-entry, patio and basement, each with its own hardware and its own way of failing; driveway gates with operators and locks that stop cooperating; and more safes per street than anywhere else we go. Smart locks are common here too, and a smart lock that has lost its mind locks you out just as thoroughly as a mechanical one.
The far edge of Potomac is the river itself — the C&O Canal and the Great Falls Tavern area, whose parking lots fill with hikers and cyclists every fine weekend.
Where the calls come from
Residential calls dominate: lockouts across multi-door houses, hardware upgrades when a family moves in, patio slider locks, safe openings when a combination is lost or a keypad dies, and gate repair when the driveway gate will not open — or worse, will not close. Commercial work is limited to what Potomac has, which is mainly the Potomac Village shops and the offices scattered along the main roads. Vehicle work has a pattern of its own here: keys locked in cars at the Great Falls and C&O Canal lots at the end of a towpath ride, plus the ordinary driveway calls — a lost key, a fob that has died, a key snapped in a door.
Covered from rockville
There is no Potomac branch. The shop is at 313 Congressional Lane, Rockville, MD 20852, in the town next door. Same locksmiths, same phone number, and the full list of services — including the gate and safe work Potomac asks for more than anywhere else.

- Keys cut in the shop, not just at the door
